20t oil boiler is used for chemical factory, the model is SZS. The boiler is double drum water tube boiler, it is equipped with membrane water wall, which has low heat loss, and achieve high thermal efficiency. Customer will use heavy oil as fuel, but he also has a requirement on environment protection, so we have to make some measures to decrease the pollution caused by heavy oil combustion. 

Issues caused by Heavy Oil 

1.Hard to Ignite

It is the common issue that appear on the heavy oil higher than 200#, as the flash-point is higher. 

2.Low Combustion Efficiency 

Because of the high content of high hydrocarbons in heavy oil, it is usually cann’t be burned sufficiently, and the carbon black will deposit at the front of oil nozzle, decrease the combustion efficiency. 

3.High SO2 Pollution and NOx Emission 

There is high sulphur content in heavy oil, SOx will occur along with the combustion. NOx will occur when there is uneven combustion. Moreover, there will be high noise because of the precipitate. 

4.High Exhaust Temperature 

In order to prevent condensing of SO2 and water at the tail heating surface under the low temperature, the exhaust flue gas temperature of most heavy oil boilers in China are higher than 200℃, decrease the boiler thermal efficiency seriously. 

Measures to Improve Heavy Oil Combustion Condition 

1.Zhongding SZS series boiler is equipped with advanced heavy oil boiler, adopts stage combustion, could burn sufficiently, has low NOx emission, to protect the environment.  

2.Zhongding SZS series boiler is equipped desulfurizing equipment, to decrease the SO2 concentration. 

Except SZS series water tube boiler, many of our other boilers could also burn heavy oil, such as WNS series fire tube boiler, and SHS bulk boiler. Zhongding Boiler has mature technical team, could design the boiler based on customers’ requirement.
