Then How to Maintain Coal/Biomass Fired Steam Boiler?

 

1. Avoid burn out coal gate, observation door, and fire draw door, smoke spraying in furnace and positive pressure combustion are not allowed.

2. Shut down boiler for maintenance within 24 hours if the front arch is break off.

3. Check the front axle and the rear axle of the chain, if there is lubricating oil leakage in oil cup, fans, and axle pedestal of reducer, each shift should add oil in time.

4. In case of the occurrence of severe vibration of induced draft fan, stop and check. Generally, the fan should be transposed if it is caused by internal wear of impeller.

5. Check whether there is stuck phenomenon for slag extractor, too much slag is not allowed in slag hopper.

6. Impounded surface water is better not to occur under the boiler bottom, to avoid the corrosion because of moist.

7. Boiler should be checked and repaired after 2-3 weeks operation, shut down and check once every 2-3 months.

8. Long-term shutdown boiler has dry and wet maintenance methods. The dry maintenance method is used for the boilers shutdown for more than one month, the wet maintenance method is used for the boilers shutdown for less than one month.

(1) Dry maintenance

Discharge water boiler, the internal dirt completely removed, rinse, and drying furnace with a slow fire, then the put diameter of 10-30 mm lump quicklime in the dish, placed in the drum, do not make contact with the metal lime. quicklime weight to 3 kgs per cubic meter drum volume calculations, then close all manholes, hand holes pipeline valve, inspected once every three months.Change it when quick lime crushed in pieces.

(2) Wet maintenance

Drain the boiler water off after shut down the boiler, thoroughly remove the internal dirt and rinse off the boiler, refill the treated water until full, heat the boiler water to 100℃, discharge the air out of the boiler, then chose all the valves. In the cold area, the wet maintenance method can not be used to avoid boiler damage caused by the boiler water.
